Data Collection
MenkyoHub collects the following information:
- Email Address: We collect your email address at checkout through Stripe. We use it to let you sign in, to send you driving test slot notifications if your plan includes them, and, in hashed form, for ad measurement as described under Analytics and Advertising.
- Name: We collect your name to personalize your account and communications.
- Country: We collect your country information to determine which test centers are available for your license conversion process.
- Test Center Preferences: We collect your selected test centers to monitor availability and send you relevant notifications.
How We Use Your Data
Your information is used solely for the following purposes:
- Sending email notifications when driving test slots become available at your selected test centers
- Managing your subscription and account through Stripe
- Providing you with access to your dashboard to manage your preferences
- Measuring how the site is used and whether our ads lead to purchases, as described under Analytics and Advertising
Data Storage
- Your account information (email, name, country, test center preferences) is stored securely in our Supabase database
- Payment information is handled securely by Stripe, our payment service provider, following industry-standard security practices
- We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary for email delivery, payment processing, and the analytics and advertising measurement described below
Analytics and Advertising
- We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, mock test progress and purchases. This includes session recordings of how pages are used, with form inputs masked. PostHog uses a cookie set by this site.
- We use Google Ads conversion tracking, through Google Tag Manager, to measure whether our ads lead to purchases. It sets Google cookies on this site. When you arrive from a Google ad, Google receives the ad click ID, and when you buy, the purchase amount and an order number.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to this site and other websites. Google may use them to show our ads again to people who have visited MenkyoHub, on Google Search and across the web. You can turn off personalized ads from Google in My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) and opt out of other vendors at optout.aboutads.info.
- To match purchases to ad clicks more accurately, we may send Google a hashed, one-way encrypted copy of the email address used at checkout. Google uses it only to measure ads.
- You can turn analytics and advertising measurement off at any time with the Analytics switch at the bottom of every page.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which follows industry-standard security practices. Payment information is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.
